UAE Declares New Year’s Day as a Public Holiday for All
The UAE government has recently declared that the first of January, 2025 will be an official paid public holiday for all employees in the public and private sectors. This came from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources where they get to enjoy and welcome the New Year in style.

Eid Al Adha, The Prophet Mohammed’s birthday and UAE National Day are among many other holidays that have been approved by the UAE Cabinets for 2025 (source). Federal government offices will reopen on January 2nd so that everyone can get back to work.
